Vocalist Alissa White-Gluz and her band Blue Medusa have released „Crocodile.“ with a music video, following the singles „Checkmate “ and „Flying Monkey„.

The track is dark and tense, built on the sense that something dangerous sits close by while staying out of sight. White-Gluz calls it „that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby“ — the tension between what we perceive and what we sense.

She co-directed the video with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, continuing a long-running collaboration, and it captures the first full-band Blue Medusa performance. White-Gluz plays a one-off guitar built by Nik Huber Guitars for a three-way collaboration between Sea Shepherd, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and Blue Medusa.

Signed by Alissa and Doyle, it carries Doyle’s Von Frankenstein Monster Gear pickups and strings. The guitar will be auctioned to fund Sea Shepherd’s marine conservation work. Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist adds visuals and harsh vocals to both the video and the track.

„Crocodile.“ is out now on all streaming platforms.

A Packed Year for Alissa White-Gluz

At Wacken Open Air she spent her birthday weekend across three stages and joined Bear McCreary for their collaboration „Our Kingdom“, the official Wacken anthem. At Summer Breeze she appeared with Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein for a signing session.

She fronted DragonForce at Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville. She also turned up unannounced with Ice Nine Kills across Europe and North America, including Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Stuttgart, Heavy Week-End, Inkcarceration and Rock the Park. At Hellfest she played an acoustic set with Savage Lands before joining Sepultura for „Kaiowas“.

White-Gluz also hosted the Corrupted Blood Club Show in Berlin, streamed on the Corrupted Blood Twitch channel. Started by German influencer HandOfBlood, the event pairs a concert with a Twitch experience, mixing international secret headliners with young acts from the label. This autumn she fronts DragonForce again on their Inhuman Rampage anniversary tour in North America, and festival dates for 2027 are already confirmed.

Fallen Sanctuary Release Nothing Can Keep Us Apart from New Album The Gathering Of Dreams

5.9.2026

Fallen Sanctuary Neuhauser Pastorino 2026Fallen Sanctuary have released „Nothing Can Keep Us Apart“, the second single from their album The Gathering Of Dreams, out September 18, 2026. The duo pairs Serenity vocalist Georg Neuhauser with Temperance guitarist and singer Marco Pastorino.

Offers from several labels arrived quickly after the news from AFM Records, but the pair took their time and chose to handle the album themselves. They describe the move as the right opportunity at the right moment and say they are excited about the new chapter.

The record leans further into power metal. It keeps the grand choirs, epic choruses and broad melodies the duo built their name on, and adds more speed metal-driven tracks. As on their debut Terranova, Neuhauser and Pastorino wrote the music and lyrics together and drew mainly on their own lives.

The faster material, they say, came about naturally rather than by design.

„Nothing Can Keep Us Apart“ sets the tone for the album — sweeping melodies, layered choirs and a chorus that refuses to leave. Gabriele Gozzi (bass) and Dario Capacci (drums) complete the line-up, and „Into My Life“ preceded it as the first single.

Insania Release Third Single Ironie from Upcoming Album NEO-NOE

4.9.2026

Insania Czech metal bandCzech band Insania have released „Ironie“, the third single from their album NEO-NOE, due October 30, 2026.

The video was shot in the maze of the Mosilana complex in Brno. It is the last standing of the iconic textile mills that drove the city’s industrial and social growth in the 19th century. Behind a triple set of doors, the same complex hides the band’s secret rehearsal room.

Frontman Poly gives the video a documentary edge. The complex the band mapped out on camera, he says, faces the same fate as Vaňkovka, Zbrojovka and Vlněna — large Brno factories already levelled.

The song itself runs on contrast. Poly describes it as a sinister „nevergreen“ about where we are heading, what we are and which road we take. The band also brought back children’s voices chanting in chorus, setting an innocent delivery against a chilling message and stern guitar riffs.

Pre-orders for NEO-NOE are already open.

Faustovy Hračky Sign with Smile Music Records for Debut Album Vlci a Prasata

4.9.2026

Faustovy Hracky Czech band 2026Smile Music Records have signed Faustovy Hračky, the project of multi-instrumentalist Dan „Faust“ Hnidka, for their debut album „Vlci a prasata“. The band run on dark aesthetics, catchy rock melodies and a stubborn insistence on authenticity.

Contrast is the guiding principle: a dark, rough look set against hooks, and exaggeration set against personal stories. Faust calls the band a beautifully repulsive mix of everything he did and did not want.

The lyrics come strictly from lived experience — listeners are not stupid, Faust says, and would spot anything faked. What he wants them to take away is a record with no samples on it, imperfect and perfectly fine that way.

He built the album step by step at home, artwork included. Rommuald Klemm handled the mix and master, and Tom Tejkl shoots the band’s videos. Only the single „Karolína“ is out so far.

Faustovy Hračky remain a one-man project on record, but a live line-up is taking shape and Faust wants it on stage as soon as possible. Concerts, he says, will matter as much as the album — music and a hellish show.
