Beast In Black Release New Single and Video Fear The Beast

Finnish heavy metal band Beast In Black have released „Fear The Beast“, the title track of their forthcoming fourth album, with a music video. It is their first new music since last year’s Diablo collaboration, tied to the game’s Berserk crossover.
Anton Kabanen wrote and produced the track and traces it back to Ridley Scott’s Alien and, above all, to the biomechanical art of H. R. Giger. He and artist Roman Ismailov first discussed a Giger-inspired cover in early 2020 in Turku, while sketching the artwork for Dark Connection, and parked the idea for a fourth album.
Katri Ilona Koppanen directed the video with Emil Pohjalainen of Nestruction Studios. It borrows its industrial look from James Cameron’s Aliens and introduces the band’s Xenobeast, another Ismailov design that also appears on the album cover. New lead guitarist Markus Venehsalo joins the line-up on a track built on the dance beat-driven heavy metal the band are known for.
Beast In Black play Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai and Beijing later this month, ahead of the Resurrection tour.

Temperance Release Third Single The Tower: Lean Into Fear from Album Arcani
10.9.2026
Italian symphonic metal band Temperance have released „The Tower: Lean Into Fear“ with an official music video. It is the third single from their eighth album, Arcani, out October 16, 2026 via Napalm Records.
Each of the 13 songs on the album follows a different card of the Major Arcana. This one takes the shape of a hard rock track and hands the lead to vocalist Kristin Starkey, a register the band have not worked in before.

Tracklist:
- The Fool
- The Magician: Into the Fire
- Death: Right Before We Die
- The Tower: Lean Into Fear
- The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin
- Temperance: Forgiveness
- The Chariot: Alla Ricerca dell’America
- Justice: Shame & Glory
- The Star: Surrender Control
- Wheel of Fortune: Come and Call Me
- The Moon: The Man of Moonlight
- The Hanged Man: Petrichor
- The World
Starkey calls The Tower one of the most feared cards to draw. She reads it as a card of necessary pain: the scars and the trials are what teach the lessons, so the answer is to „lean into fear“ rather than avoid it.
Marco Pastorino says the band spent the past year on the 13 songs and expect them to become a fixed part of the live set.
Temperance support Kamelot‚s Dark Asylum World Tour across Europe in November, alongside Exit Eden, starting November 1 in London.

Night Roar Release Video for No Compromise, No Apologies
10.9.2026
Speed metal trio Night Roar have released an official music video for „No Compromise, No Apologies“, the title track of their debut album.

No Compromise, No Apologies is out on the band’s Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms.

Gloryhammer Release Warriors of Auchtermuchty from Album Space 1993
9.9.2026
British power metal band Gloryhammer have released „Warriors of Auchtermuchty“ with a live video. The song comes from their fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, out October 16, 2026 via Napalm Records.
It is set in Auchtermuchty, the hometown of the band’s antagonist Zargothrax, and follows the fighters who swear allegiance to their emperor. Choirs and a sing-along chorus carry the track.
The band say they hold a world record for using the town’s name the most times in one song: „We hope you like saying it as much as we do.“
The album is a direct sequel to 2015’s Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards and continues the saga of the McFife dynasty. It follows Angus McFife V, Crown Prince of Fife, last seen in the 2022 single „Fly Away“, across spacetime and into 1993.
Eleven tracks move from power metal to thrash, synth rock and orchestral passages. The band produced the record themselves and Jacob Hansen, known for his work with Volbeat and Amaranthe, mixed it.
The closing track runs close to 13 minutes and splits into four chapters.

Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath tracklisting:
- Ultra Portam Astralem
- Ultimate Sacrifice
- On a Quest for Aberdeen
- Die with a Sword in My Hand
- Silver Talon
- Starfighters of Leuchars
- Warriors of Auchtermuchty
- Pax Galactica
- Demonic Devotion
- Hammer of Fate
- The Celestial Warhost of the Dundonian Empire Marches to Space Against the Dark Sorcerer: Final Assault on Battlemoon X-22
